DJ AM's death ruled as an accident

The untimely death of Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM last August has been ruled an accident by the New York City medical examiner’s office.

Results shows that DJ AM died due to "intoxication" which they found cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and levamisole (a drug used to cut cocaine with).

Blink 182 canceled Saratoga concert due to DJ AM's death

Blink 182 decided to canceled their show in Saratoga Springs, New York, saying band members were grieving the death of their friend DJ AM.
The band's statement over the cancellation:

"Due to circumstances surrounding the unfortunate and untimely passing of our dear friend Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein, blink-182 will not be playing tonight in Saratoga, NY at SPAC ... We thank all of our fans for their support in this tough time."
DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein) was found dead in his New York City apartment and the cause of death is still pending but initial investigations reveals drug paraphernalia (prescription pill bottles and "crack pipe") was found in the apartment.

Goldstein and Travis Barker were both survivors of a plane crash last year in South Carolina that killed four people.

Travis Barker on DJ AM's death: "My brother is gone"

Travis Barker of Blink 182 has delivered a message of mourning via his twitter page over the death of his friend DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein).
Travis tweeted, “Don’t know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM. My brother is gone.i love u and miss u, i’ll never forget all the good times we had. I’ll never forget everything we’ve been thru and every time i play the drums i’ll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being. Rest In Peace my brother, this really fucks me up.”
Travis and DJ AM were both survivors of a plane crash last year.

DJ AM found dead; He was 36

DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein) who made headline last year after surviving a plane crash was found dead in his New York City apartment, August 28. He was 36.

The cause of death is still unknown and allegedly drug paraphernalia (prescription pill bottles and "crack pipe") was found in the apartment.

According to TMZ, DJ AM had been "completely devastated" over his breakup with girlfriend, Hayley Wood and he is still dealing with post-traumatic stress from the plane crash.

DJ AM’s last tweet, August 25: “New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems.”

Talking about his plane crash incident, DJ AM is seeking at least $20 million in damages against different companies that caused this incident.

The numbers are out. DJ AM who is one of the survivors of last year's plane crash that killed 4 others is seeking at least $20 million in damages against different companies that caused this incident.

According to the lawsuit via People, "DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, 35, is seeking a minimum $10 million for medical damages, lost earnings and profits, plus the same amount for mental and physical pain and suffering, for a total of at least $20 million"

Aside from DJ AM, her friend Travis Baker and the family of the crash victims also filed a lawsuit against the plane and equipment companies.

DJ AM files lawsuit over the plane crash

After Travis Baker and surviving family filed their lawsuit against the plane and equipment companies, it is now DJ AM turns.

Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM filed a his lawsuit blaming the pilots for bad judgment and faulty equipment for the plane crash.

According to TMZ, DJ AM claims as the jet reached takeoff speed the pilots became aware one or more of the tires had blown. The suit contends, "Rather than proceed to takeoff, they decided to abort and/or reject the takeoff in a negligent manner." The plane overshot the runway and burst into flames.

DJ Am is suing for the pain and suffering, mental anguish, disfigurement, loss of earnings and medical expenses.
