Nightmare On Elm Street 2010 - Teaser Trailer

Here is the teaser trailer for the thriller-horror movie “Nightmare On Elm Street” 2010 remake starring Jackie Earle Haley as the new Freddy Krueger. The movie was directed by Samuel Bayer.

Other stars include Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy and Connie Britton.

The original Nightmare was written and directed by Wes Craven and released in 1984. The serial murderer Fred Krueger is originally played by Robert Englund.

Jackie Earle Haley has signed as Elm Street's Freddy Krueger

New Line and Platinum Dunes' has signed their new serial murderer as Watchmen star Jackie Earle Haley accepted the role of Freddy Krueger “Nightmare on Elm Street” remake.

It was confirmed by Variety and as previously reported Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are producing with John Rickard co-producing. Samuel Bayer will direct from Wesley Strick's script, with lensing set to begin next month in Chicago.

Another project for Haley is his crazy mental patient role in Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film, "Shutter Island".

“Nightmare on Elm Street” is set to be release on April 16, 2010.
