Katy Perry cameo with Simpsons Puppets (Video)

Katy Perry found love and acceptance in the special live-action segment Christmas episode of The Simpsons!

Wearing a low cut dress, Perry plays bartender Moe's girlfriend and she also gave a passionate hug to Mr. Burns.

The "Firework" singer got her chance with the Simpsons after her "Sesame Street" segment with Elmo was rated too hot for TV. Perry's "Sesame Street" clip with Elmo has been pulled from the show after parents complained about the singer's cleavage-baring dress.



Marian Rivera renews contract with GMA-7; talks about Super Inday" (video)

Actress Marian Rivera will continue her reign as GMA-7's queen of primetime as  she signed another exclusive contract with GMA Network, September 7.

Present during the contract signing were GMA Executive Vice President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr.; Chairman, President and CEO Felipe L. Gozon; Senior Vice President Wilma V. Galvante; and Marian's manager Popoy Caritativo.

Cesar Montano is now a certified Kapuso; Working on "Romana San­ta"

Veteran actor/host Cesar Montano will now be working again in GMA grounds as he inked a deal for one-year exclusive contract in the Kapuso network. The contract signing held at GMA Network Center, July 15.

The event was witness by Atty. Felipe Gozon (Chairman, President and CEO), Mr. Jimmy Duavit (Executive Vice President and COO), and Ms. Wilma Galvante (SVP for Entertainment TV).

Cesar previously worked with GMA Films in the award-winning projects like "Jose Rizal" in 1998 and "Muro Ami" in 1999.

Her last project in ABS-CBN are "Singing Bee" and guest host gig in "Wowowee".

Cesar ran for Governor of Bohol last May 2010 national election but he failed. After the election, Cesar admits that ABS-CBN is not offering him any regular show so he decided to move on.

Reportedly, his first project in GMA is "Romana San­ta" with Aljur Abrenica and Rhian Ramos.

Anne Curtis sustained a minor injury after car accident



Filipina actress Anne Curtis sustained a minor injury after her Porsche Cayenne hit a mini-truck from behind.

The accidents happened at the corner of Congressional and Mindanao Avenues in Quezon City at around 2:30 am, July 27, 2009.

Anne is now reportedly at St. Luke’s Medical Center.

KC Concepcion was named National Ambassador Against Hunger of World Food Program for United Nations.


The mega daughter KC Concepcion is becoming a Angelina Jolie in the making...

The young actress has the beauty, the brain, the style and she also conducts humanitarian advocacy.

KC Concepcion was chosen as the new National Ambassador Against Hunger of World Food Program (WFP) for United Nations. She went on a three-month screening process and got approved by three offices—Rome, Vatican, and Thailand. She's only the third to be chosen from Southeast Asia.

Her first task as the ambassadress she went to South Cotabato yesterday (February 18) and she distribute foods to poor families. She also went to schools for their onsite feeding and distribution of warm formulated meals.
"I am so happy to be connected with the right channels talaga. It's quite a feat to feed hungry children everyday and help resolve conflict and keep them in school,"

"That's part of my job," KC added. "That is to help WFP work to put the issue of hunger at the center as a child dies of hunger somewhere around the world. Kawawa naman. The focus here is food for school to make kids stay in school. It also lessens child labor.

GMA Network slam a P15 million law suit to ABS-CBN and other personalities.



Last month GMA Chairman & CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon promised and said to their rival network(ABS-CBN) that they will give them a good fight, not just in the courts, but in the hearts and minds of the people.

Today GMA Network filed a P15-million civil suit against rival network ABS-CBN.

GMA said, ABS-CBN done a series of on-the-air fabrication of statements imputing GMA 7 as behind the alleged rigging, manipulation of TV ratings in Bacolod City.

GMA also charged some ABS-CBN personalities:

GMA Network also said that there is a malice and obvious intent to defame the plaintiff and ridicule it before the public.

GMA Network demanded P10 million from ABS-CBN for moral damages, P2.5 million for exemplary damages, P1.5 million for attorney's fees and P1 million for litigation expenses.
