Wesley Snipes is now in Prison for his three-year sentence

After failing to worked around the system, actor Wesley Snipes began serving his three-year sentence at McKean Federal Correctional Institute in Lewis Run, Pennsylvania for tax violations.

According to ABCnews, Snipes surrendered shortly before noon today (Dec. 9) at a federal prison in Pennsylvania. He is inmate No. 43355-018. Snipes will end up in the adjacent satellite minimum security prison camp
During his interview with CNN's Larry King, he was asked if his nervous about going to prison.

Snipes said, "I think any man would be nervous. Given the length of time that they are suggesting that I be away from my family, away from my profession, away from my ability to provide for my family and for those who have depended upon me to contribute to society...I think anyone would be nervous about that."

The "Blade" actor was found guilty on tax evasion charges (three misdemeanor charges) in 2008. He has spent the last two years filing for appeal.

Wesley Snipes failed to pushed his surrender date

No joyful holidays for Wesley Snipes after the court denied his request to move his surrender date after the holidays.

According to TMZ, Wesley filed the request last week using the argument that he has "four minor children" and idea of being locked up "in the middle of the holiday season."
"Asking a federal judge in Florida if he could begin his three-year prison sentence for tax evasion on January 6, 2011".
The court ordered Snipes to voluntarily surrender next week (Dec. 9) at a federal prison in Pennsylvania to serve his three-year sentence for tax violations.

No Bail For Wesley Snipes; must begin jail term next week!

Wesley Snipes failed to delay and worked around the system as his time is now up! The court ordered Snipes to voluntarily surrender next week (Dec. 9) at a federal prison in Pennsylvania to serve his three-year sentence for tax violations.

The bail of 48 year-old "Blade" actor was revoked by the judge after he lost his appeal.

Snipes was found guilty on tax evasion charges (three misdemeanor charges) in 2008.

Tik...Tak...Tik...Tak...Tik...Tak... before his departure and served his required jail time.

Court ordered Wesley Snipes to Serve 3 Years in Prison

Wesley Snipes is now headed to a federal prison to begin serving a three-year prison sentence for tax-related crime.

Snipes has been appealing for more than two years for his cases but this time, Ocala, Fl. Judge William Terrell rejected for a new trial.
Terrell said, "The defendant Snipes had a fair trial; he has had a full, fair and thorough review of his conviction and sentence. ... The time has come for the judgment to be enforced."
