Ellen Pompeo welcomes baby girl Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery

Grey's Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery have welcomed their first child last week (September 15) in Los Angeles. The couple named their baby girl Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery.

Meanwhile her "Grey's Anatomy" co-star Katherine Heigl recently adopted a baby girl Nancy Leigh (Naleigh) from Korea.

Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo is Pregnant

As Grey's Anatomy are having interesting changes in their storyline, their star Ellen Pompeo is also having personal changes on her life as she and her music producer-husband Chris Ivery are now expecting their first child together.

The good news was confirmed by their rep. via People, she said, "It's great news. They're ecstatic."

The couple met in 2003 and decided to tie the knot on November 2007 in a low-key ceremony which was officiated by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
