Crystal Bowersox & Brian Walker tied the knot!

American Idol season 9 runner-up Crystal Bowersox married her longtime friend/musician Brian Walker in a private ceremony in Chicago on Sunday (October 10).

"Our lives have never made more sense than they do right now,” Bowersox tells PEOPLE. “I can't believe how incredibly lucky we are to have found so much laughter, love, and light within each other. We're one happy WalkerSox family."

60 close family members and friends attended the ceremony including Crystal’s fellow Idol contestant Didi Benami and actor Lance Barber.

Meanwhile during her time on Idol, Bowersox dated Tony Kusian and she revealed that she and her boyfriend Tony decided to split-up right before the final two performance show.

American Idol season 9 runner-up Crystal Bowersox will be hearing wedding bells as she is now engaged to musician Brian Walker and plan to tie the knot in October 2010!

Bowersox has a 1 1/2-year-old son, Tony, from a previous relationship.

During her time on Idol, Bowersox dated Tony Kusian and she revealed that she and her boyfriend Tony decided to split-up right before the final two performance show.

Lee DeWyze & Crystal Bowersox Sign Record Deals

Music labels are not wasting time as they quickly signed the two American Idol finalist.

American Idol season 9 winner Lee DeWyze signed a record deal with 19 Recordings Limited and RCA Records. Labelmates: Chris Daughtry and Adam Lambert.

Runner-up Crystal Bowersox secured her contract with 19 Recordings Limited and Jive Records. Labelmates: Kris Allen, Jordin Sparks and Allison Iraheta.

Behind her great performance during the American Idol final two showdown is her aching heart, season 9 runner-up Crystal Bowersox revealed that she and her boyfriend Tony Kusian decided to split-up right before the final two performance show.

On Ryan Seacrest KIIS-FM radio show, Bowersox said, "Big Tony...he went home. He wasn't cool with the lifestyle"

And added, "It's cool though, we're both logical, grown adults. He's a small town guy and that's fine, I'm a small town girl, but I want this. I want this more than anything, this career, this lifestyle. I didn't think he was up for it...he didn't think he was up for it."

Crystal explained that the break-up was mutual, and that there were no hard feelings on her part.

Lee DeWyze won American Idol season 9 but the judges and many critics felt that Bowersox delivered a better performance during the final two showdown.

Lee DeWyze chances when he enters Hollywood week seems like a long shot and as the the season goes he remains an underdog but his fans support delivered the votes as he now winner of season 9 of American Idol.

A sure shocker to all Crystal Bowersox's fans! She is the front-runner all season and she has better vocal range against DeWyze. Crystal even gave a great performance in the Final two showdown.

The great thing is Lee has improved a lot throughout the competition and he show that he right choice to be in the finals. Finally, he remains humble.

Crystal Bowersox shows no conflict with Ryan Seacrest during the American Idol Top 7 live performance show.

It was reported recently that Bowersox texted Top 24 contestant Katelyn Epperly as she felt "betrayed" after Seacrest revealed that she almost quit the show.

Bowersox explained, "We had a conversation, but it definitely didn't go down the way it has been portrayed. We had a simple, civil conversation. Ryan gave me great advice, and I highly respect him. I am not mad at Ryan Seacrest. He is a great man. We just bumped into each other and had a good talk."

American Idol front-runner Crystal Bowersox Almost Quit

American Idol contestant Crystal Bowersox, who is the top favorite to win this season almost quit the show a couple of weeks ago, luckily host Ryan Seacrest convinced her to continue her journey and fulfill her dreams.

According to TMZ, It went down in a parking lot after an "A.I." show. In front of several people, Crystal told Ryan she couldn't handle the competition.... she said she hated the attention and said to Seacrest, "What's the point?"

"Crystal said she was going back to Ohio to be with her family, whom she missed terribly."

Ryan gave a sweet talk, encouragement and wake up call to Bowersox that "Idol" is like starting a business and if she win, she will get a recording contract and become a millionaire. Ryan also said, "The greatest thing I ever did was make enough money so I could buy my mom a house. You can buy your mom a house."
