"Glee" Dianna Agron Apologizes for GQ sexy shoot

Glee star Dianna Agron and Lea Michele are in the hot seat after their sexy-provocative GQ photo shoot was criticized by  The Parents Television Council in which they rated the shoot "Borders on Pedophilia".

Dianna apologized via her blog to the people who felt “hurt” or “uncomfortable” with the controversial pictures.
In the land of Madonna, Britney, Miley, Gossip Girl, other public figures and shows that have pushed the envelope and challenged the levels of comfort in their viewers and fans…we are not the first. Now, in perpetuating the type of images that evoke these kind of emotions, I am sorry. If you are hurt or these photos make you uncomfortable, it was never our intention. And if your eight-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry. But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there?
About the GQ shoot, She added:
For GQ, they asked us to play very heightened versions of our school characters. A ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ version. At the time, it wasn’t my favorite idea, but I did not walk away. I must say, I am trying to live my life with a sharpie marker approach. You can’t erase the strokes you’ve made, but each step is much bolder and more deliberate. I’m moving forward from this one, and after today, putting it to rest. I am only myself, I can only be me. These aren’t photos I am going to frame and put on my desk, but hey, nor are any of the photos I take for magazines. Those are all characters we’ve played for this crazy job, one that I love and am so fortunate to have, each and every day.
Dianna Agron's apology statement shows that she knows her limitation. Parents must also do their   responsibilities of guiding their children.

Parents Group says GQ's Glee Cover "Borders on Pedophilia"

The GQ photo spread of Glee stars Dianna Agron, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are definitely sizzling hot and now their facing some heat from The Parents Television Council.  The parents group described the steamy shoot as "Borders on Pedophilia"

Parents Television Council issued a statement: “It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on Glee in this way. It borders on pedophilia."
"By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show’s direction. And it isn't good for families."
GQ Editor-in-Chief Jim Nelson fired back by saying, “The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy. As often happens in Hollywood, these ‘kids’ are in their 20s. Cory Montieth's almost 30! I think they're old enough to do what they want.”

Describing it as "Borders on Pedophilia" seems too much... but definitely it's very provocative!

‘Glee’ Cast Dianna Agron, Lea Michele & Cory Monteith gone Wild for GQ Magazine (Photos)

Glee stars Dianna Agron, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith delivered trio of wild sexiness in the November issue of GQ Magazine. Handling this steamy shoot is photographer Terry Richardson.

Some of the interview highlights:
Lea Michele on her nose:
“I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn’t get one. And if anybody needed it, I probably did. But my mom always told me, growing up, ‘Barbra Streisand didn’t get a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’ And I didn’t. F— those people. That’s why I’m proud to be on a positive show and to be a voice for girls and say, ‘You don’t need to look like everybody else. Love who you are.’”

Cory Monteith dropped out of school in the ninth grade:
"The last thing I want to do is kind of imply to readers in high school that you too can drop out and be an actor and get on a big show and be famous and make a s***load of money."
