Michelle Obama: Forbes’ Most Powerful Woman In The World

Michelle Obama is now carrying the torch of Forbes' annual list of the 100 most powerful women in the world and surprisingly the First Lady beat TV host Oprah Winfrey, who landed at 3rd spot.

The Forbes mag says about the First Lady, "A forceful advocate of school nutrition standards and military families' affairs, she's more involved in policy than Laura Bush was."

Sandra Bullock - Hollywood's Highest-Paid Actresses

Even though Sandra Bullock is unlucky in the love life department, her professional career is raking in big numbers as she is named the highest paid actress in Hollywood by Forbes with an estimated $56 million in earnings from June 2009 to June 2010.

The movies of the "America's sweetheart" like “The Proposal” earned $320 million and the movie that gave her Oscars' Best Actress which is “The Blind Side” earned $310 million (estimated budget of only $30 million).

Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz tied with $32 million while young actress Kristen Stewart popularly knows as Bella Swan in Twilight franchise scored $12 million, 1oth spot.

Forbes’ 2010 Most Powerful Celebrities List; Oprah Winfrey at no. 1


Oprah Winfrey has reclaim the top seat in Forbes magazine’s annual Power List (2010) earning $315 million over the past 12 months. The list is based from the earnings (past 12 months) and and media visibility (exposure in print, television, radio and online).

The Queen of all Media is back from last year when Angelina Jolie pushed her down to #2. Jolie slides to the 18 spot while the controversial Lady GaGa enters at the #4 spot. Boxing's Pound for Pound king Manny Pacquiao at #55 spot with $42.

Gisele Bundchen is Forbes' top earning model again

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen still leads Forbes‘ list of Top Earning Models…again.

Continuously doing campaigns with the True Religion jeans, Dolce & Gabbana and her own sandals brand Ipanema, the 29-year-old Brazilian beauty raked in an estimated $25 million just this past year (earnings from June 2009 to June 2010).

Hot sexy TV host/model Heidi Klum came in second with $16-million while Kate Moss ranks third, with $9 million.

Beyonce and Jay-Z top-earning couple; Brangelina on third spot

If you think that Brangelina are the top earning couple due to their recent donations and their movies, you are wrong. Music couple Beyonce and Jay-Z took the top spot of Hollywood's top-earning couples according to Forbes.

On their second year, Beyonce and Jay-Z made a combined $122 million between June 2008 and June 2009. Combining record sales, merchandising, endorsement deals and many more.. Sexy B got $87 million while mogul Z earned $35 million.

Simon Cowell is Forbes top earning man in primetime

Not all people who are being straightforward and harsh can received a big payday. American Idol judge Simon Cowell who is considered as the meanest man in prime-time television is the top earning man in US television.

Forbes rated Cowell at the top of his league with the earning of $75 million last year from judging, producing and music publishing.

It seems the rivalry and comparison will never end. In this round, Angelina Jolie wins again.

Forbes released its annual "Hollywood's Top-Earning Actresses" issue in which Jolie edges Jennifer Aniston by a slight margin of $2 million. The "Wanted" actress earned $27 million while "Marley & Me" actress made $25 million.

Angelina Jolie has claimed and dethroned Oprah to be named Forbes' 2009 most powerful celebrity in the world.

Even though the TV queen Oprah Winfrey raked in $275 million (top earner in the list), Jolie who just raked in $27 million has the advantage in terms of visibility and publicity.

Forbes' mag says about Jolie, "Eclectic actress and gossip-column favorite dethrones media maven Oprah Winfrey atop this year's Celebrity 100. Jolie has always been able to attract tabloid attention and Oscar nods, but this year, she's finally figured out a way to make serious money. Her most recent blockbuster, Wanted, proved this mother of six's sweet spot is action films; the movie earned $340 million at the box office. Up next: Salt, in which Jolie plays a CIA officer accused of being a spy.

Boxing pound for pound King Manny Pacquiao landed at no. 57 and raked in $40 million.

Forbes' mag says about Pacquiao, "Widely regarded at the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, Pacquiao had two blockbuster fights in the past year: He took on Oscar De La Hoya in December and Ricky Hatton in May. Pac-Man is a huge celebrity in his home of the Philippines and plans to run for political office there once his days in the ring are over. Counts Nike and beer maker San Miguel among his sponsors."

Forbes' Top Ten Hollywood's Most Overexposed Celebrities of 2008, Paris Hilton at No.1

Media attention will never be a bad thing except if you're privacy is being bothered. Their are some celebrity that are craving for media attention to create buzz to himself.

Their also some celebrity who is just destined to be a media popular. Every moves he/she makes, automatic headliner.

Forbes'
has released their top Hollywood's Most Overexposed Celebrities of 2008 via E-Poll Market Research. Topping the list is the hotel heiress Paris Hilton, the socialite got Overexposed Score of 65%. She makes a great impact with her merchandising activities and her presence in Los Angeles nightclub circuit.

Capturing the second spot is the comeback artist of the year Britney Spears.

At 3rd spot is Lindsay Lohan and surprisingly her mother Dina Lohan is at the 5th spot, created some buzz with her reality show.

The rest of the list includes Pamela Anderson (#5), recently found guilty OJ Simpson (#6), Donald Trump (#7), Disney star Miley Cyrus (#8), Nicole Richie (#9) and Heidi Montag (#10).
