Gabriel Aubry is Sad About Split from Halle Berry

The romance maybe over but still Gabriel Aubry maitains his respect and appreciation to Halle Berry.

Aubry issued a statement to Access Hollywood, “While I will not comment on all of the wild inaccuracies being speculated about in the media, I am sad to say that Halle and I have decided together to separate at this time. She is, and will forever be one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to have only love and respect for one another. We have been blessed with the most amazing daughter in the world, and her happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us. Please respect our privacy during this very difficult time.”

The two are reportedly working on a financial and custody agreement for their 2 year-old daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Split Up; "short-term custody arrangements"

Actress Halle Berry and her boyfriend/model Gabriel Aubry have split up after more than five years together. The two are reportedly working on a financial and custody agreement for their 2 year-old daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry.

According to RadarOnline, Gabriel and Halle’s age difference played an important role on their split.

"Gabriel just felt it wasn't working anymore," the source says. "When they were first together the 9-year age difference between them didn't phase him, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever dated and he was totally in love. But as time went on he started feeling it more and more. Also, Gabriel started noticing other women, and being attracted to others, and he felt it just wasn't right to stay with Halle in those circumstances.Gabriel is a really nice, decent guy and he would never cheat on her, but I suspect that he had become attracted to someone and that he felt he needed to break it off with Halle before anything developed any further."

TMZ is reporting that "Halle and Gabriel have agreed to several short-term custody arrangements while they sort things out. They have renewed them each time they have expired and are still working under a short-term agreement but no permanent agreement has been struck."

Halle had two failed marriage: (1) former baseball player David Justice ended after she accused him of domestic violence. (2) Eric Benet, reportedly cheated on her during their four years marriage.

Halle Berry: baby no.2 on the way

Actress Halle Berry is reportedly expecting her second child, she's three months pregnant.

"Halle is overjoyed," says an insider close to Halle and the baby's father, model Gabriel Aubry. "The first time, she struggled so much to get pregnant and eventually conceived through in vitro fertilization. This time, the baby was conceived through artificial insemination."

"She's just ecstatic to be pregnant again," the insider tells Life & Style. "She wasn't sure if she'd have another baby, so she's very happy!"

The couple's daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry is now 17 month-old.
