She added, “She’s definitely the heart of the panel and the kind of heart she treats the contestants with she treated me with last year during the auditions. She was so kind to me and made me feel immediately like I was part of the panel. And I hoping she’ll reconsider.”
“The way I’m understanding, it was her choice to leave,” Kara told Ryan. “How could you ever replace [her]? She’s an incredible talent. She is somebody who helped to make the show as big as it is. And how could you ever replace that?”

AI Judge Kara DioGuardi sexy-toned body vs. "Bikini Girl" at American Idol finale

Aside from singing skills, American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi shows that she can go head to head even with Ba..Ba..Boom Katrina Darrell a.k.a. "Bikini Girl" during AI's result finale.

Kara DioGuardi surprised the audience as she undid her dress and stripped down to her bikini as she flaunt her sexy-toned body while "Bikini Girl" Katrina got her 3-minute of fame again as she receives the Golden Idol Awards for Best Attitude.

Katrina sung her rendition of Mariah Carey’s “Vision of Love” (But I'm sure the audience is more concentrated on what they are seeing rather than hearing).

Kara DioGuardi on American Idol: “I’m only here for one season”

It seems all the judges want to move out of the shadow of the American Idol and their contract is still in a limbo. New AI judge Kara DioGuardi reveals she still doesn't know if she'll be back for the next season.

Kara told TV Guide that “I’m only here for one season. That’s what we’ve discussed. So we’ll see what happens. Hopefully they’ll keep me on.”

In the previous interview of Paula Abdul, she expresses that she want to "move on" while Simon Cowell said, "I would imagine so, but the only say I have is about Ryan, Randy and Paula. I’ve always made it clear that I wouldn’t like to do the show without them. So that’s all I'm really concerned about."

American Idol will use their crystal ball for Kara's fate.

Paula Abdul: “I don’t think anyone can replace me."

American Idol season 8 is her last season contract and many are asking if she will stay with the AI family? Paula Abdul was interviewed by "Nightline" Cynthia McFadden and the lady judge gave a possible moving on comment and she discuss her relationship with fellow lady judge Kara DioGuardi.

In spite of feud report with Kara, Paula Abdul says, “Well, I started her success. And I’m proud of it. Happy of it. I moved a stranger from New York, told her to give 2 week’s notice to Billboard magazine, and moved a stranger into my home in LA. I actually think that Simon got mad that we are friends and that I actually knew her and that her humble beginning began sleeping in my guest bedroom and I just believed in her.”

Speculations that new judge Kara DioGuardi was hired to be replace her, Paula Abdul says, “I don’t think anyone [can replace me]. First of all Kara says, ‘I could never replace you.’ Whenever there is change it’s not about replacing anybody, it’s about possibly moving on."

Staying in the show, Paula Abdul says, I love the show, I do. I love what I do on the show and I’m loving it more this season than ever. It’s taken me a while to get comfortable in my own skin with the show.”

Kara DioGuardi is the new American Idol judge

Aside for being bored, American Idol added a fourth judge to join Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell in scrutinizing the AI contestants.

AI tapped the services of songwriter/producer Kara DioGuardi for the eighth season of American Idol. Adding a female judge perhaps will create more balance in judging and will prevent Paula Abdul judging the future.

Executive producer Simon Fuller said, “We are turning the heat up on ‘Idol’ this year and are thrilled to welcome Kara to the judges’ table,” and added “She is a smart, sassy lady, and one of America’s most successful songwriters. We know she will bring a new level of energy and excitement to the show.”

Kara's approach to judging is simple, “I’m going to be a straight shooter and say it like I see it and maintain that philosophy.”

Kara has penned and produced hits for Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera.
