Noli de Castro & Korina Sanchez returns to "TV Patrol"; Willie Revillame’s shaking the primetime block

With the entry of Willie Revillame’s “Willing Willie” on TV5, many are now expecting a movement or changes on the early primetime block with rival networks ABS-CBN and GMA-7. It seems the program shake is now starting!!

ABS-CBN made the first move as the network announced that hard-hitting veteran broadcast journalists Noli de Castro and Korina Sanchez will be returning to "TV Patrol" on November 8, Monday. The two will join Ted Failon, making it a powerhouse team.

"TV Patrol" former anchors Karen Davila and Julius Babao will join Ces Drilon in ABS-CBN's late night news program, "Bandila".

Willie Revillame and TV5's are redefining the TV programming. Willie’s new show is now cutting into the viewership of news and current affairs programs.

Hard-hitting veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez formally takes a leave of absence from TV news program “Bandila” and her DZMM radio commentary program “Tambalang Failon-Sanchez” starting May 8 for she will enter and will be busy for her wedding to Senator Mar Roxas II which their engagement was confirmed at ABS-CBN’s noontime show “Wowowee” last April 18.

After 20 years of media service, Korina's temporary farewell will also mark the start of her undying support and preparation for her future husband's bid for the Presidency in the upcoming 2010 election.

Sanchez said it was now time to give more time with the man she loves and she slams some critics in their speculations that she uses her show in order to boost Mar's Presidential bid.

“I am not stupid. Maybe people would like to kid themselves believing someone is using and the other is being used…. No one gets to use me unless I want to be used.”

But until Mar Roxas file his candidacy, Korina (many calling her future first lady) will still continue to host her weekly ABS-CBN magazine show, "Rated K".

With the 2010 Presidential election in the Philippines is fast approaching, suspicion and doubts are being thrown to top presidential contender Senator Manuel “Mar” Roxas II for his timing in announcing his undying love and wedding plans to popular and respected ABS-CBN senior correspondent Korina Sanchez.

Even though their doubting Mar's intentions and timing, Korina defended her man in a recent interview and slams speculations by some people that they just settling down in order to boost Mar's Presidential bid.
“I am not stupid. Maybe people would like to kid themselves believing someone is using and the other is being used…. No one gets to use me unless I want to be used.”
Dating for five years, the future first lady feels that this is the right time to tie the knot.
“Marriage is a serious matter. If I had been able to stay away from marriage this long, wouldn’t you think I would have the best of reasons to settle down?” and added “I believe there are a thousand reasons why a woman should not marry. But it will only take someone like Mar to ask you to be beside him in life that should be the one good reason why marriage becomes a temptation.”
Mar Roxas and Korina will expect more bad propaganda against the two of them. Whether the couples timing is good or bad, the important is a President must have a first lady in his side to help him in different activities and a wife that will help him to take out the pressure of being leader of a country.

Rated K host Korina Sanchez, first celebrity guest in “Pinoy Bingo Night”

ABS-CBN will premiere their newest game show “Pinoy Bingo Night,” hosted by Kris Aquino on March 30, 2009. It is the Philippine franchise of United States' National Bingo Night.

402 studio players will try to took home over P2 million cash prize every night. Home viewers also get a chance to win as a lucky televiewer will win an instant prize daily.

Mel Feliciano and comedian Brod Pete who will play the role of “commissioner” and “bingo caller” respectively.

In their first episode, Rated K host-journalist Korina Sanchez will try her luck to be the very first millionaire of the newest game show.

Lucida DS Glutathione management is filing a libel lawsuit against Korina Sanchez

The exclusive and explosive report of ABS-CBN newscaster Korina Sanchez about glutathione products that uses less than the claimed content posted on its bottle is creating media tension to different personalities.

The affected company on the said controversy is United Shelter Health Products who sells Lucida DS Glutathione and Vaniderm.

On the said report, the glutathione content on the bottle label of Lucinda DS indicates 500 mg but the test conducted by Philippine Institute of Pure and Applied Chemistry (PIPAC) reveals that it only contains 4.4 mg. The discrepancy is to high.

Also in that report only MET Tathione product passed the test.

Senior Vice President Ms. Maribel Galindez and their business partners will be filing a libel suit against Korina Sanchez in different parts of the Philippines.

PEP reports that it will be filed in Polomolok, Davao, Iloilo, General Santos City, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Iligan, Koronadal and Zamboanga.

Distributors in Malaysia, Dubai and U.S. is also thinking on filing a case.
