Rihanna and Matt Kemp Call It Quits

Singer Rihanna has been celebrating the holiday season as a single lady because she and her boyfriend Matt Kemp have gone their separate ways, ending their relationship after almost a year together.

A source tells Us Weekly, "It happened over the last few weeks. She basically was just over it." Also, "It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just [about] having fun."

Time schedules is a big part of their split-up.

The source add, "He just can't keep up with her crazy travel schedule. Matt's sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal."

Kemp became Rihanna's support blanket in moving on after her break up with Chris Brown.

Rihanna: Dodger'a Matt Kemp is "my boyfriend"

Singer Rihanna finally admits that L.A. Dodger star Matt Kemp is indeed her “boyfriend.”

The "Rude Boy" songstress confirmed the big news to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM, "He's my boyfriend..It's new and it's fun. It's nothing too serious. I don't want anything that's going to take up so much of my energy and time right now in a bad way. I just want to have fun, and that's what it's about."

It's all going well for Rihanna's career and love life while her ex Chris Brown continues to struggle with his career.

Meanwhile, Rihanna performed "Rockstar 101" during the American Idol Season 9 results show.

Rihanna's new man, Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp aka The Bison gave the earliest buzz of 2010 with his passionate PDA in his recent getaway with the "Rated R" star.

In a new FunnyOrDie video spoof of a Match.com, Matt loves to “public ass groping”.

He also said that he is "looking for a chick with a dude’s haircut that likes sharing umbrellas.... .ellas..ellas" and he is "drawn to women with whiny voices who wear clothes that show their nips."

And finally top it all, Matt assures that he doesn't hit chicks.
