Nicole Richie’s Probation Is Over Early

Nicole Richie will enter the year 2011 with probation-free record after it was terminated early ahead of court-ordered schedule.

Her probation was set to end in February 2011 but it was cut short due to her good behavior and completing all the terms of probation, including the alcohol education program in which she's been enrolled for the last 18 months.

Nicole's probation was from her December 2006 DUI arrest after she was caught driving on the wrong side of the highway.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Are Married!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden finally sealed their love by tying the knot Saturday, December 11th, at the Los Angeles estate of Richie's father, Lionel Richie.

People reports that 130 close friends and family members were invited and a very noticeable attendee is the trained elephant. Two tents were set up for the ceremony. The couple's rings were made by jeweler Neil Lane.

The Rev. Run officiated the wedding. The Run-DMC rapper is also a practicing minister.

Some of the guests included were Good Charlotte bandmate (and brother) Benji Madden, Sam Ronson, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale.

Nicole and Joel's children Harlow and Sparrow were also part of the celebration.

Nicole Richie returns to "Chuck"

A memorable villain is making a comeback! Nicole Richie is reprising her role as Heather Chandler in the hit spy-comedy series "Chuck". The episode air in October.

According to EW, "a prison transfer goes awry and her character, Heather Chandler, ends up being stowed away at Castle (a.k.a. the underground CIA base). But here’s where things get really interesting: I’m told her arrival dovetails with some serious bumps in Chuck and Sarah’s deepening relationship. And you better believe that Ms. Heather will use that rift to her advantage."

Nicole's character became memorable with her action scenes with Agent Sarah Walker (played by Yvonne Strahovski) which ends in a bloody mess. Heather is the tormentor of Sarah Walker in their old school days.

Another making a comeback is Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s Hugo Panzer, a ring agent which will return in the same October episode.

Recently they announced that actress Olivia Munn will be appearing as CIA agent on Sept. 20 episode.

Nicole Richie's Probation Extended!

A Los Angeles judge extended the probation of Nicole Richie by a year after failing to take the required alcohol education classes due to her busy schedules being a mother.

According to TMZ, "Nicole's probation was due to terminate next month, but today in court, her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, explained to the judge ... because she had program-approved leaves of absence in order to deliver and care for her two kids, she didn't complete the required number of alcohol ed courses."

Her probation will be extended until March 2011, but the judge said she'd terminate the probation if Richie finishes her alcohol program earlier.

Richie's probation was due to her DUI charges in 2006, in which she was arrested after driving the wrong way on an L.A. freeway. She spent 82 minutes in jail.

TMZ also reports that Nicole Richie received good remarks from her alcohol education classes, "Her attitude is excellent."

Linday Lohan must learned from Nicole Richie about probation.

Nicole Richie to star and produce comedy sitcom

Nicole Richie will be delivering some laughs as she return to the small screen. The "Simple Life" star will be producing and star in a half-hour sitcom for ABC about professional women .

On her blog, she shared, "The story revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance her business and family relationships. She must deal with, and navigate the many ideas of what a woman’s role is: modern vs. traditional."

"Lately, I have been surrounded by many different women of all ages and walks of life. It amazes me to watch and observe how many different ideas there are about what a woman’s role should be in this era. I’ve taken these fascinating ideas, and compiled them into something that I think will be very special (and funny!). We’re still in the very early stages and I can’t wait to share more with you soon!"

It will be interesting.

Nicole Richie will "stay in bed and recover"

Nicole Richie will try to remain in her home and rest after being hospitalized for pneumonia.

Nicole wrote on her blog, "Right now it’s important for me to stay in bed and recover. Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving."

She also apologized for missing promotional activities.

Nicole Richie has checked into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia, according to her rep.

Meanwhile, the court granted Nicole's request for restraining orders against two paparazzi that caused her to get into a car accident.

Court granted Nicole Richie restraining order against two paparazzi

After the car accident caused by a paparazzi, the court granted Nicole Richie the temporary restraining order against two paparazzi who stalked her in "daily basis".

Photographers Eduardo Arrivebene and Ivon Miguel were ordered to stay 100 yards away from Nicole and her two children Harlow and Sparrow.

People reports that Richie stated on the document that "photographers Eduardo Arrivebene and Ivon Miguel daily "stalk" Richie and her family, and that they "sit outside my house, waiting for me to leave." She alleges that they "scream at me in an attempt to get my reaction, scare me, follow me, chase me in [their] vehicle," causing her "severe emotional distress."

A hearing is set for Nov. 16 to determine if the restraining order will be permanent.

Nicole Richie in a car accident; was rear-ended by a paparazzi

Nicole Richie was in a car accident in Beverly Hills when she was rear-ended by a paparazzi in Beverly Hills.

Sources on scene say Richie is claiming she’s in pain, but will not go to the E.R. — instead she told authorities she will see her own private doctors.

The 28 year-old actress went to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for her minor injuries.

The driver who bump Richie is now arrested and charged with driving without a license.

Richie just gave birth to her second child last month. One good things is her children are not in the vehicle.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Welcome Baby Boy Sparrow James Midnight

It's a boy for Nicole Richie and rocker beau Joel Madden. They named their second child Sparrow James Midnight Madden, September 9. (Hmmm....very nice name!)

Nicole who is very excited wrote, "In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing
well. Thank you for all of your good wishes."

Sparrow will now join his older sister Harlow Winter Kate Richie Madden, who was born in January 2008. Still no immediate plans for the Nicole and Joel to wed.

Expecting mom Nicole Richie has posted a photo via her blog a precious sweet moment from her daughter Harlow with her daddy Joel.

Nicole titled her post "A Musician in the Making", the picture shows Joel exposing little Harlow to music by teaching her to play the keyboard. Nicole adds a cute message caption "Harlow gives Joel a lesson".

Nicole Richie is jokingly shared via her blog the reason why she is in Zac Efron's new Funny or Die pool party spoof, the reason Kate Winslet is not available.

Nicole Richie launched the House Of Harlow 1960

Nicole Richie looks stunning as she launched her jewelry line House Of Harlow 1960 at Kitson store on Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood last Saturday, March 7.

In her recent magazine interview, she said, “I always wanted to get into the designing business, so I decided that jewellery would come first, then sunglasses, belts and shoes. The first collection is Indian and African inspired. I travel a lot and I’m always at flea markets. I love the ‘60s and ‘70s.”

Meanwhile with her second baby on board, rumor has it she and Joel Madden are planning to tie the knot for their children.

Nicole Richie's traffic school obligations

The essence of motherhood continues teaching Nicole Richie the right ways after her arrest due to DUI last year.

The new mom attends classes at traffic school in Los Angeles on Wednesday. It is a part initially ordered by the court after she pleaded guilty to DUI.

One of her challenges today is taking care of her baby while her baby's father Joel and his band Good Charlotte is on tour and that will take him throughout Europe through mid-April.

Also according to Life & Style, “She wants to put the whole ordeal behind her. She has a family to focus on now, and that has given her great strength.”

Meanwhile, Nicole is into custom jewelry and she will be launching her own line. Her upcoming bling bling will be produced with the company Mouawad.

Nicole Richie welcome baby Harlow

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden was blessed with a baby daughter and was named Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

Harlow was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz.

Couple’s rep told People magazine, "The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents".

Madden said, “Right now our priority is our family and is the baby,” “That’s all we’ve been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy.”
