Russell Hantz: criminal charges dropped

"Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" runner up Russell Hantz scored a win on his legal troubles after being charged with battery during Festival International de Louisiane last April.

TMZ has learned the District Attorney in Lafayette, LA has decided not to file criminal charges against the reality star -- and we're told the decision was made at "the victim's request.

Russell was accused of shoving a woman to the ground but later on it was revealed that the woman apparently, been verbally arguing with him.

Hantz is the best player to play the Survivor game and he was named fan favorites.

Sandra Diaz-Twine was the declared the winner in 20th season of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, a record which she achieved winning the Survivor title and the million-dollar prize twice! The great thing is the Survivor viewers has spoken, the fan favorite is Russell Hantz and he won $100k.

"Survivor" Russell Hantz arrested for allegedly shoving a woman

Reality TV castaway villain Russell Hantz was arrested and charged with battery after being accused of shoving a woman to the ground.

The incident happened while attending the Festival International de Louisiane in Lafayette.

Hantz was arrested by the Lafayette police and he was released later in the day. He has to appear in court on the 24th of June 2010.

Hantz was runner-up in the "Survivor: Samoa" series and is currently on the series "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains"

Hantz is the best player to play the Survivor game and I'm a great fan.
