A major setback for the upcoming James Bond movie as it is now being delayed indefinitely.
Sam Mendes was attached to direct and Daniel Craig will reprise the 007 role for the third time.
The excitement and thrill will have to wait.
Producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a joint statement, "Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on BOND 23 indefinitely."Still-untitled Bond 23 movie was originally scheduled for release in 2011 or 2012.
