Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, together with Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, Co-Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., today announced that the 23rd James Bond film will commence production in late 2011 for a worldwide release on November 9, 2012. Daniel Craig will be returning as the legendary British secret agent, with Sam Mendes directing a screenplay written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan.
1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. Producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a joint statement, "Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on BOND 23 indefinitely."Still-untitled Bond 23 movie was originally scheduled for release in 2011 or 2012.
In "Dream House," Craig plays a man who moves his family to an quaint town, only to discover his house is haunted by former inhabitants who were murdered there.As we are waiting for bond 23, this new film will be a side treat.

'Quantum' Origins
I was a little perplexed by the title at first glance and did a little research into the origins of each word. Initially, the word 'quantum' brought to mind a scientific definition, thinking of 'quantum physics'. However, looking up its Latin root, 'quantum' actually comes from the Latin 'quantus' which translates to 'how much'. In this regard, 'quantum' in Bond 22's title could be replaced with the word 'time'.
'Solace' Origins
Solace, on the other hand, comes from the Latin 'solacium,' which means "Comfort in sorrow, misfortune, or distress; consolation."
