Nick Lachey on Jessica Simpson's Engagement

Despite the coincidental timing of both engagement, Nick Lachey wishes the best for his ex-wife Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson.

Jessica and her boyfriend/former NFL player Eric Johnson got engaged on Thursday (November 11).

Lachey tells UsMag, "I will say the same thing I always say: I wish her the very best."

Just last week, Lachey also popped the question to longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, whom he began dating in 2006 after his split with Jessica.

Jessica also gave nice word on Nick Lachey's engagement:

"I couldn't be more happy for Nick. Our relationship was over a really long time ago so it would be nice if everybody could move on with us and just celebrate the love between him and Vanessa. I wish them nothing but the best."

Both are now ready for round two! It seems Jessica Simpson will be the first one will walk at the altar.

Jessica Simpson is once again off the market! The 30 year-old singer and her boyfriend/former NFL player Eric Johnson got engaged on Thursday (November 11).

A rep for the singer confirms to In Touch. "They are thrilled!

Jessica and Eric began dating in May. In September, she tweeted, "I met a wonderful man. Damn I'm lucky!"

Coincidence? The funny thing is her engagement was announced days after her ex-husband Nick Lachey got engaged to longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo.

Simpson and Lachey decided to split in 2005, after three years of marriage.

Jessica Simpson is still in a bliss as she extremely feels that she's so "lucky" having ex-NFL star Eric Johnson as her beau.

The 30 year-old singer tweeted, "I met a wonderful man. Damn I'm lucky!" and later she a photo of herself with boyfriend Eric Johnson.

It is not the first time that Jessica expressed her satisfaction with her latest beau. Last month, she also tweeted that she's "very, very happy."

Aside being lucky with her new love, she is also busy of her career department. Jessica will record a Christmas album and launch her Jessica Simpson Denim Collection.

Charice, new Ambassador of Operation Smile replacing Jessica Simpson; appearance on "Singapore Idol"

International singing sensation Charice is the newest ambassador for Operation Smile, a non-profit organization which mobilized medical professionals and caring hearts who provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.

The formal announcement was held in the 8th Annual Smile Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Charice replaced Jessica Simpson as the new ambassador of the said charity organization. In the said event, Charice performed her rendition of the song, “I Will Survive”.

Charice shared to ABS-CBN, "Sobrang natuwa sila sa akin kasi parang bagay daw po sa akin ‘yong pagiging youth ambassador. Kasi ang Operation Smile ay isang international organization na nag-start sa Philippines."



Meanwhile, Charice is scheduled to make an appearance on "Singapore Idol" on December 27.

Showing that she will be a good mother to her future child, Jessica Simpson will not give up in finding her five year old maltipoo dog Daisy after being snatched by a wild coyote and she slams some "assholes" who is discouraging her.

Jessica tweeted, "Still holding out hope despite the assholes that say is it a dumb thing to do. Daisy is my baby...why would I stop searching? I'm a mom."

Nick Lachey talks little bit About Jessica Simpson’s Breakup and his ex-Vanessa Minnillo

Funny coincidence for the former couple Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey that their both single at the same time. Nick Lachey talks a little bit about Jessica Simpson being dumped by Tony Romo.

Nick said, "I certainly have heard about her breakup and I wish her the best, as I’ve always done. Aside from that, there really is nothing to say."
