Tony Romo and Candice Crawford are now Engaged!

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and his girlfriend Candice Crawford are now moving a level up as they are now officially engaged to be married.

Tony popped the question to Candice (Chace Crawford's younger sister) in Dallas, Texas on Thursday (December 16) while celebrating her 24th birthday.

Tony was romantically linked to Sophia Bush, Carrie Underwood and Jessica Simpson. The NFL star broke up with Simpson on July 9 of last year, the night before her 29th birthday. Ouuch!

Nick Lachey talks little bit About Jessica Simpson’s Breakup and his ex-Vanessa Minnillo

Funny coincidence for the former couple Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey that their both single at the same time. Nick Lachey talks a little bit about Jessica Simpson being dumped by Tony Romo.

Nick said, "I certainly have heard about her breakup and I wish her the best, as I’ve always done. Aside from that, there really is nothing to say."

"I haven't talked to her in probably two years," Lachey says. "I wish her happiness. That’s where it pretty much ends."

Now, talking about his breakup with Vanessa Minnillo, he learned that he must take it as it goes.

"I'm in a good place," he says. "I've learned, through years of not only being in this business, but being in relationships, that you have to take it as it goes. With every experience, you learn something about your life, and you try to take that and move on and be a better person because of it. We'll see what happens."

It seems he take it well about his breakup rather than Jessica Simpson who is still on hiding.

Singer-actress Jessica Simpson was dumped by her boyfriend Tony Romo the night before her 29th birthday. Barbie and Ken-themed party which was planned has been canceled (July 10).

"She is heartbroken," says the source. "She loves Tony. But it's been difficult lately. He's busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways."

Jessica tweeted, "Barbie party didn't happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!"

she added, "Everyone needs to know that hope floats...grab the strings and pull it back to you... Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please, Lord, give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace."

What a coincidence, her ex-husband Nick Lachey is currently single again after ending his relationship with Vanessa Minnillo.
